Requested move[edit]

The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Move. There is agreement that the soccer player is the primary topic. A move to "Mo Bangura" may be worth exploring if it really is the most common name for him. Cúchullain t/c 15:56, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Mohamed Bangura (footballer)Mohamed Bangura – The boxer's page has only been edited 27 times since its creation in 2006. Google search "Mohamed Bangura" and extremely few results are for the boxer. So the footballer has to be the primary topic. Unreal7 (talk) 23:31, 28 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment - This is a mult-move as the Mohamed Bangura (disambiguation) will need to be preserved, since Google Books gives various Mohamed Banguras, such as the former AFRC minister of information, Mohamed Bangura. The footballer probably is WP:PRIMARYTOPIC on the basis of playing for Celtic, but not in print sources. In ictu oculi (talk) 02:20, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - The footballer seems to have larger notability than the boxer or the politician. --MicroX (talk) 07:07, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - A google search for the name Bangura alone comes up with only results for the footballer Tam1hibs (talk) 10:27, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - Player whilst more notable than the other is actually more commonly known as Mo Bangura. Would however Support move to →Mo Bangura.Blethering Scot 21:41, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
