Removed upcoming shows[edit]

I've removed the following content because events in the future are not really encyclopedic and make WP difficult to maintain. I'm also not sure that WP is the place to list every exhibition by an artist (or concert by a musician).

  • (upcoming) The Visions of Science Fiction, Freiraum, Museumsquartier, Vienna (2005)
  • (upcoming) Experience the Experience III, Rx Gallery, San Francisco, USA (2005)
  • (upcoming) Experience the Experience II (Unterspiel), Contemporary Art Gallery Vancouver, Vancouver, Canada (2005)
  • (upcoming) Experience the Experience I, The Machine Project, Los Angeles, USA (2005)
  • (upcoming) The Birthday of Capitalism, Kunstverein Baden, Baden bei Wien (2005)

Connectivity?[edit]

I haven't been able to get on to monochrom.at since I've been back in the States (a few weeks). Could someone please check to see if the site is currently accessible from other countries? samwaltz 15:41, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Seems to work. No problems from SF and NYC. monochrom.at and monochrom.org work... Juri

Project examples: too many?[edit]

There are well over 30 projects listed in this section. If this really is supposed to be examples, rather than a comprehensive list, then 30 is far too many. 6-8 would be better. A full list could be spun off into a separate article if needed. 86.132.139.119 (talk) 16:49, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Some of the articles (Arse Elektronika etc.) could actually be transferred into separate articles. In general: I like the overview, demonstrates the huge variety of activities. And as far as I can tell we should just rename it from "examples" to "main projects". 72.27.157.210 (talk) 22:31, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Clean up[edit]

I'll be shortly initiating the heavy cleanup this article needs. I'll be removing all unsourced info and the overly long lists. --Damiens.rf 11:18, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Damien. I'd love to help. I think the list of main projects is good and not too long (wiki is not paper), but I think it would be great to tame down the list of "exhibitions and festivals"... K-pachs (talk) 11:19, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, added tons of references. Most of it is easy to google. K-pachs (talk) 12:48, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removed (unreferenced) tag. I think I did a good job adding referenes. K-pachs (talk) 11:40, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Shortened exhibition list. Was definitely too long. Looks better now. Interstellarpoliceman (talk) 10:09, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Question about category inclusions[edit]

This article is listed in numerous categories relating to hoaxes, but the word at no point is included in the body of the article, nor do any of the article section titles indicate material related to this theme. Currently it's in the categories Hoaxes in Austria, Hoaxes in Germany, and Hoaxes in the United States. 2A00:23C5:C812:0:845:7B0F:40C5:BB6E (talk) 08:55, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
