"Palace Windmill"[edit]

Does anyone know of a reputable reference that states that the windmill was first known as "Palace Windmill"? For now, I'm going to take that name out, but if someone finds a good reference it can easily be popped back in. Thanks!--CaroleHenson (talk) 22:56, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone source windmill info? Just see French sources[edit]

Hi, I'm seeing French sources for some of this info (that's all my limited French can tell), but I'm wondering if someone can find an English source - or translate something from French. I've left this in the article, because it seems likely this is sourced, but someone may disagree and wish to pull it.

"The Debray family acquired the two mills in 1809 for producing flour, the "Blute-fin" and the "Radet", built in 1717. But it was also used to pressurize the harvest or grind materials needed for manufacturing. An association "Friends of Old Montmartre" saved it from destruction in 1915. In 1924, its owner moved the windmill to the corner of Girardon and Lepic streets. It was restored in 1978, but is not running. The windmill has been classified as a monument since 1939."--CaroleHenson (talk) 01:33, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
