GA on hold[edit]

  • it was picked in 2001 by Vangelis' new 'picked in'?
  • References come after punctuation with no space [1]. should be .[1]
  • Vangelis not only composed the music, he also wrote the lyrics[4] in Ancient Greek. Naturally in English it sounds as meaningless words. Remove the meaningless part its stupid
  • Don't start a section with a quote.
  • Remove, merge or expand the one sentence paragraphs
  • Remove the white space between sections
  • Would be better if you remove the sales chart and convert it into a paragraph
  • 'Miscellanea' is basically a trivia section. Remove or incorporate it into the body as trivia sections are frowned upon.
  • Video section is very stubby and should be merged with the rest.
  • Not GA requirement but alphabetize the categories
  • Image:Mythodea dvd.jpg Needs fair use rationale - The image caption is also wayyyy tooo long.
  • References are a problem. They do not contain things like Publisher, date, author date last accessed. The {{cite web}} template can help with this, examples can be found here
  • Album track listing - should be just tracklisting as its a subsection to Album.
  • References needed here
    • although this was acknowledged as a mistake by the record company and was corrected.
    • The DVD reached gold status for sales in Portugal. - Could also be reworded The DVD attained gold status selling x copies in Portugal

Once these issues are dealt with I'll have another look, if these are done it will be close to GA. I have this watch listed so respond here. M3tal H3ad 08:01, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

I completed the remaining work started by user:Alex valavanis. I also took the opportunity to shuffle the structure of the article in order to tighten it, bringing the two concerts together and also bringing the two media (album and video) together. The sections were previously in chronological order but I (who had written the bulk of the text and structured the article) had never been happy with it. I also moved the album infobox from the top to the album subsection, as this is not an article about the album, and put the DVD image at the top. However, I don't know if an infobox must be up there. Finally, if I changed too much in the middle of a GA assessment, I apologise. --maf 03:52, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
Looks a lot better. Only problem now is one sentence paragraphs and the references. The references are missing publishers (the website its from. M3tal H3ad 04:10, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Mythodea album cover.jpg[edit]

Nuvola apps important.svg

Image:Mythodea album cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

not an oratorio, but a choral symphony[edit]

I have removed references to Mythodea being an oratorio. It is a choral symphony. I had introduced the concept of the oratorio based on this source, but the newer choral symphony article settles the matter. --maf (talk-cont) 01:33, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
