Wording, Oct 2011[edit]

"Although she gradually gave up composition after her marriage, she had a considerable influence on the creation of her first three operas.[12] She travelled with her husband, attended rehearsals and proofread and arranged compositions by him and others.[12]"

One would assume "his first three operas". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.86.192.210 (talk) 16:53, 17 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Russian Empire[edit]

she was a national of the Russian Empire. As such we need to place her in categories connected with the Russian Empire.John Pack Lambert (talk) 14:01, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you remove her from Category:20th-century Russian women musicians? Why do you keep using "Russian Empire" as an adjective when it is not? Why do you keep doing this for people who outlived the empire? Does any reliable source call her a "Russian Empire composer"??? In future I am just going to revert such changes that I keep seeing in my watch list. Mellk (talk) 15:41, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also Russian people is the parent category for the empire categories, so there is no good reason to remove these categories. Mellk (talk) 16:34, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
She lived for 69 years as a resident of the Russian Empire. She was clearly a national of the Russian Empire. She clearly belongs in categories related to the Russian Empire.John Pack Lambert (talk) 04:28, 6 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That does not justify removing her from Category:20th-century Russian women musicians. Seriously, you need to stop being disruptive over removing people from categories. Mason (talk) 05:08, 6 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
