Ottine swamps[edit]

The reproduction section is just plain wrong. I captured 4 last fall and now have 10's, if not more, young 'pedes emerging from the soil. Without question,they do not lay one egg a year, no insect does. Maybe they lay one egg, roll it into a dirt ball, and lay another?
