Product lines section[edit]

I placed the "Unencyclopedic" template in this section for the following reasons:

  1. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information - This information doesn't have any valuable meaning nor does it add anything to the article. It is a mostly incomplete collection of information that can be found at NECA's site or numerous figure collecting sites on the Internet.
  2. The content isn't notable - The movies, video games, tv shows, and people that the figures are made of are notable, but the figures themselves are not.
  3. It appears to be listcruft - The list in not notable, unmaintainable, and unencyclopaedic.
  4. It is unencyclopaedic, you wouldn't expect to find a list like this in a print encyclopaedia.

I beleive that the secion should be deleted for the above stated reasons. I didn't want to be too BOLD and go ahead with it and thought I'd look for opinions here. -NatureBoyMD 20:45, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
