NRHP in Tampa split[edit]

I propose that all sites within Tampa, Florida be split into a separate page called National Register of Historic Places listings in Tampa, Florida, and that the column currently used for cities on this list should be used for neighborhoods. The list is largely dominated by sites in Tampa, and would be large enough to make it's own page. -----User:DanTD (talk) 13:38, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not quite sure how that would work. Can you explain better? Would this split make it easier for readers to comprehend how many historic sites there are in any given area? Is this really a split at all, or are you suggesting just a new way of ordering the same material? Thanks for any more info you can give. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 19:23, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and the reasons (why the new way would be better for the reader, or the project, than the old way). BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 19:31, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
First yes it is a split. Right now the existing list has too many sites that are just in Tampa. Second, I don't see how it would be difficult to know how the split would work. The ones in the rest of Hillsborough County would remain here, and for those in Tampa, you'd have a hatnote here. There's already a list for Miami that's separate from that of Miami-Dade County. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 20:07, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Seems like good reasoning. So you'd have separate lists for Hillsborough County and for Tampa, with hatnotes to the other article? If that's it, sure, so ahead. Sincerely, BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 02:17, 24 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I tagged this in October 2019. I should start working on this. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 16:17, 26 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
UPDATE: I'm going to exclude Upper Tampa Bay Archeological District from the list, because even though the address is officially in Tampa according to Hillsborough County government websites, the Upper Tampa Bay Park still is northwest of Tampa. In the meantime I should change the location on this list. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 12:13, 14 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
UPDATE #2; Okay, I'm done. All anybody has to do is remove the Tampa sites from this list. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 14:10, 14 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
