NATIVE AMERICAN DAY SHOULD BE DELCLARED A NATIONAL HOLIDAY[edit]

This is a State Holiday, and has never been recognized by the Goverment of the United States of America as a National Holiday. The Native Americans owned, lived, hunted and roamed every inch of the land which we now call the United States of America. This land was taken from them, and they were driven across America on foot, by horse and wagon and train to be relocated in small areas called "Reservations". They were not allowed to leave these areas. These people should definitely be recognized and remembered, for their great contribution to the Country which we call the United States of America. There should be a Natiuonal Holiday called "NATIVE AMERICAN DAY", which should be observed by every person in the Country, just as they observe the 4th of July. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jayel2m (talkcontribs) 23:10, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
