Why does this page even exist?[edit]

I couldn't help but wonder why this page exists. None of the other versions of NN have their own pages. What was particularly important about version 2 of NN that it merits its own page. Surely this could be rolled in to the main article for NN? Djonesuk (talk) 00:38, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Each of the early Netscape editions are notable enough to exist on their own. IE has an article for each of its versions (Internet Explorer 2). Netscape had more marketshare and had significant coverage. If you believe otherwise, you can take it to AFD.Smallman12q (talk) 02:20, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose (when you look at the number of new Wikipedia articles created daily and the subjects they cover) I was never actually in any doubt that NN2 is "notable". Yet still remains, in my mind, the question of whether it merits a page. Djonesuk (talk) 19:49, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This was the first browser to support animated gifs and javascript. That alone makes it notable.
