Suggestion that the article be split into multiple articles[edit]

If you broke it up now, wouldn't it become a bunch of stubs? If anything, the article is necessary to explain the differences in a commonly used word and work environment. And the fact that no one else has commented on this question suggests there isn't much strong sentiment either way, so we might as well leave it as is.

I removed the split tag because, in the three or so months it's been on the page, nobody BUT ME has commented on it. Gladmax 21:24, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

misconception?[edit]

Saying its a misconception that newsroom's are places where people argue, talk on the phone loudly and work frantically is stretching it. I work in a newsroom and that sounds like a pretty darn good description to me.

It is true that the gender makeup is changing though (we're about 50/50) and you can't smoke or drink.

Removed opinion[edit]

I noticed this in the article: "although some of the best journalistic writing"

Relevance?[edit]

Is this really relevant to include in the article? There's nothing else on it, it's uncited, and it doesn't represent a shift in newsrooms specifically, but industries globally. ɯɐɔ 💬 19:42, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
