NPOV [edit]
Nikka's powerful five octave vocal range is by all accounts astounding due to her ability to deliver a plethora of singing styles which she has demonstrated in her recordings.
This sentence needs to be tweaked (or more likely rewritten) so it doesn't sound quite so much like a public relations orgasm. JuJube (talk) 19:03, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
With all due respect...Bite me. The sentence is a fact. It's pathetic the way this site picks and chooses what sounds/reads worthy. That sentence is a freegin fact. You rewrite it then but give the artist her props. She is a gifted singer with an incredible range and has managed to go from a European child star to a major talent based on her vocal skills and musicianship. And anyone who has ever listened to her music (which as usual some uninformed critic finds a way to devalue/discredit/misinform the public about the artist they've never even listened to) would testify to. Just listen to her first US hit single (her signature track) Like A Feather. She clearly validates this sentence in that performance alone. And n I don't have a hard-on for Nikka. i am just sick of these unqualified critics cutting out the goods on the artist. Most of these artist work at their craft their whole life and this is the kind of stuff that readers go on this site for in the first place. And while we're at it, why aren't any of her singles given articles like many of your other musical artist? YOU NEED TO MAINTAIN AN EQUAL STANDARD FOR ALL ARTIST NOT JUST THE ONES YOU ALL HAVE DECIDED TO HIGHLIGHT. Maybe play an instrument once in a stadium or hall with thousands of fans or sing in front of thousands once and you will finally appreciate these peoples life stories that you have the nerve to edit. Oh and by the way she is notorious for her live performances selling out show after show apparrently based on the belief in "that" sentence. Don't believe me? check it out: 1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHS-pVRbc38 2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmVka9zGVIc 3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQgTZjmdBTY
JuJube you insult the creator's legend, years of hardwork and earned credit, respect, craft and artistry with edits like the one you chose to make. It's a crying shame that you stand between information, talent and glory. What have you done in that capacity? Do your homework.
- What the hell is this junk about? Whatever unrelated nonsense you're presenting does not detract from the fact that the sentence violates POV, and that you think it's a fact shows your clear bias. Now please, if you have something to say that will help the article, feel free to do so. Until then, keep your whining to yourself. JuJube (talk) 21:12, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

Link to Frank Sinatra and Don Costa [edit]
Is the fact that Nikka Costa is Don Costa's Daughter and Frank Sinatra's Goddaughter important?

- Seems like it wouldn't hurt to mention it with a reliable source. Xihr 05:05, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
It doesn't really matter, but I would say about 80-90% of pieces on the singer mention the link. I have a live recording where she asks "Who fucking cares?" and really it's not that significant. I think there's an interview where she says she didn't ever see him past the age of ten.
- Regardless, it needs to be cited with a reliable source. IMDb does not qualify. Xihr 05:38, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
"Adult" career [edit]
Definitely think we need to change this title, this is VERY misleading. 24.18.48.108 (talk) 04:14, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
Fairy Tales Album [edit]
The Fairy Tales Album link leads to the wrong article. Can someone find the real article for this? Or doesn't it exist?Tanor Zeta Faux (talk) 20:05, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
- Done. Actually there is no album for Nikka's "Fairy Tales" album, and someone just put in an unnecessary link to fairy tales in general. --DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 17:49, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
