Origin etc[edit]

The band are not from Pontypridd like 'Lostprophets'. The band also do not want/feel the 'origins' should be there. Luke Johnson follows me on twitter and has stated that via Direct Messages. It doesn't matter what the band want, unfortunately it's the truth and therefore it should remain. This is an encyclopaedia, not a promo website. RealDealBillMcNeal (talk) 11:58, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That may be true, but the origin part is still incorrect. LaimWMcKenzie (talk) 12:56, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I believe that only the primary origin of the band should be mentioned here, where did they start exactly? I don't believe a band should have two origins in the infobox either, mainly it starts in one place then members add to it, that doesn't mean the origins change. 4 of the band members are from Wales (Jamie Oliver, Mike Lewis, Lee Gaze & Stuart Richardson) Luke Johnson is from Redditch, Berminham, England & Geoff Rickly is from New Brunswick, NJ. Currently Jamie, Mike & Luke live in Los Angeles, Stu lives in Florida, Geoff lives in NYC & Lee is in London. The correct way to address the band would be British-American as Luke is not Welsh but English.
In the July 6, 2012 Modern Drummer article in the 7th paragraph it shows where Luke is from. http://www.moderndrummer.com/site/2012/07/luke-johnson-lostprophets-blog/#_

I believe the infobox should say "Cardiff, Wales" for two major reasons; one being that four of the members are from Wales and secondly the band was officially announced on Radio Cardiff, obviously based in Cardiff. The band I believe should be described as a Welsh British band for this reason, with information regarding its band members in the prose of the article. Regarding the origin section[edit]

Coming away from discussing the primary origin of the band I just realised that the origin section only provides information regarding the ex-Lostprophets members and not the bands singer Geoff Rickley, should there not be some basic information placed here? He did officially announce the bands formation after all. SilentDan (talk) 17:17, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Refusal to play Lostprophets songs[edit]

"the band revealed that they would not be playing any music from the Lostprophets discography as the songs are now "tainted" in their opinion.[11]"

Where did this quote come from? Nowhere in the source link is the word 'tainted' used. 14.202.139.228 (talk) 02:29, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
