Note re page move[edit]

This page has been moved from Lake Forest Hospital to Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital. No other page links to LFH on Wikipedia, so all links are updated. The content has been significantly expanded and includes information about the affiliation with Northwestern Memorial. --je (talk) 18:14, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Needs rewrite to increase independent sources[edit]

These notes refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Northwestern_Lake_Forest_Hospital&oldid=519767223 edition of the page.

Almost all of the references (citations) are not independent of the hospital. Reference 5 is a press release but it points to a U. S. News article which should be used, reference 10 is OK because it seems to be independent.

Guidelines on independence of sources are at WP:IS.

A short and pointed statement regarding sourcing is at WP:42.

RE: Ariconte
I've updated the sources on the page to be in line with the sourcing guidelines that you have referred me to. Many thanks for your help. I would like feedback to know if this is now sufficient to remove the note at the top of the page regarding the "references to primary sources or sources affiliated with the subject."

It is not 'sufficient' for me as I think the article is still too dependent on sources published or heavily influenced by the hospital. Any editor can remove the tags at the top though and you may think differently. If you were to remove the tags, I would probably ask other editors to review it independently and take whatever action they thought appropriate.
