Numbers (Woe, Is Me album)Number(s) (Woe, Is Me album) – Incorrect album title. Does not all under WP:NCTR – 194.28.127.55 (talk) 04:13, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:45, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Can the brackets around the 's' be rejected as merely stylization? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:45, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose MOS:TM per Appleyard, a stylization issue. The NCTR title is "Number[s]" which if it were not technically restricted, would still suffer from the stylization issue. The form "Numbers" is also found out in the wild, while "Number" does not seem to be. -- 65.94.169.222 (talk) 05:34, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Number(s) should be retargetted to Number (disambiguation), as its common use seems to be when specifying that there can be multiple numbers or a single number [1] -- 65.94.169.222 (talk) 05:34, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment, one option providing brevity involves exchanging Numbers (Woe, Is Me album) for Number(s) (album). I have a slight dislike for the fall of current punctuation. "Woe" has a slight separation from "Is Me album". It's just a thought. Current form fits in with Category:Woe, Is Me albums but not necessarily with Category:2010 debut albums. • Comment. In normal use, "numbers" means "more than one number," while "number(s)" means "one or more numbers." I'm not convinced that this is only a stylistic choice, so I'd be inclined to support a request to Number(s) (album). Dekimasuよ! 16:51, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose as unnecessary style per MOS:TM and the lyrics to the album's song by that name (see www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/woeisme/ournumbers.html), which don't include the word. Further supporting the stylization argument is that they actually use brackets around the "s", not parenthesis. Further in support is the similarly styled Genesis (Woe, Is Me album), which has a {{correct title}} template on it. We should probably handle these two titles consistently.
