Title[edit]

Why is the title of this article "NYCTV"? I believe it should be "nyctv" in lowercase since that is how I have always seen the name of the channel referenced. I'll move in due time if no one has any objections.--Jersey Devil 03:47, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

This page is about NYC Media not NYCTV. NYCTV is a broadcasting company on the Internet and NYCTV.com has been operating since 1998. In 1999 Seth Unger went by the OnlineTV.com offices, who operate NYCTV.com with Andrew Rasiej and liked what he saw. He then took that name and tried to reform the city information channel. By 2009 the city saw the conflict of trademark and interests and ended using the name as Seth Unger left his government office to go to jail for crimes he committed during his reign at the city TV station.

NYCTV owns and operates NYCTV.com and has several sites which include a video on demand section, a news section and a site for business listings. It is growing all the time.

It would be nice if WIKI would update the current bad information on the page about NYCTV to reflect reality. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.18.77.23 (talk) 19:26, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
