Fritillary[edit]

Wondering if we need a sub page for the Fritillary butterflies. There seem to be a lot of these with entries but only a few linked from here. I don't know enough taxomony to place all of these correctly. --Salix alba (talk) 11:29, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like a good idea to me --Dematt 20:11, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notable species?[edit]

"Notable species" seems a sly way of introducing a list of (random? popular? wikified?) butterfly species. All plant and animal species are notable, and all have been granted the possibility of having their own article in WP. What might be a better title to this section?--Wloveral (talk) 21:46, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're right - it just appears to be a small sample of a number of well known (to the general public that is) species. Would probably be better if the subheadding was changed to something else, as I do see a use of this list to "normal people" (yes, bad wording, but you know what I mean). I have changed it to "example species from this family" instead, but someone could probably come up with something better. 212.10.66.79 (talk) 03:43, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
