Untitled[edit]

There is an awkward mix of 'OAIster is' and 'OAIster was' in this article. The only way I can make sense of it is to assume it was a live project when run by the University but is now preserved unchanged and pickled by OCLC. Is that right?

Inaccessibble items on OAIster[edit]

Does anybody know why OAIster list hundreds of inaccessible items? Only about 10-20% per every keyword search is accessibble online - there is no way to get access to the rest. So I wonder why these itemes are listed in this database since they are neither free nor easy to access... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.22.29.9 (talk) 02:41, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional?[edit]

This sentence is highly promotional, and lacks citations to support its claims:

OCLC is evolving OAIster to a model of self-service contribution for all open access digital repositories to ensure the long-term sustainability of this rich collection of open access materials.
