Trident/Oberoi[edit]

Is this hotel not the Trident now formerly the Oberoi? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.136.93.84 (talk) 03:45, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The correct thing is the original Oberoi used to be two Towers. After selling off there are now two hotels next to each other. The taller building being the Trident/Hilton Hotel and the smaller building being the Oberoi Hotel. —Preceding unsigned comment added sby 76.94.205.90 (talk) 03:15, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Linking[edit]

Not sure about the the usefulness of linking each Article about India toward the terror attacks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fdesroches (talkcontribs) 04:59, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Most of those links can go away within a few days (or be moved/downplayed per WP:Recentism), but if you don't have them right now, people are likely to keep adding paragraphs to each of those articles. Kingdon (talk) 16:41, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Difference?[edit]

Im not sure but I think there is a difference between Trident and Oberoi -- I saw on the hotel website [1] this statement: "We are assessing the damage of the Trident and The Oberoi. From our preliminary assessment, the damage at The Oberoi appears to be much more than at the Trident" so if this is true than article title should be changed and should be reworded —98.110.43.168 (talk) 02:43, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There definitely is a difference. The Trident and the Oberoi are 2 seperate hotels next to each other. The Trident was formerly known as the Hilton Towers and prior to that Oberoi Towers. The hotels are connected to each other by a passageway but other than that, they are 2 distinct hotels. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.127.129.175 (talk) 17:37, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
