No subject[edit]

Everything I've found so far suggests that Olympus has hobbled this camera in some small number of non-immediately-obvious ways. They appear to have committed to not allowing bulb / cable release options with this device at all, for example. Minor change made to the main page to reflect this. - jedd (talk) 23:23, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Point-and-shoot[edit]

The differences between the E-PL1 and the E-P1 are rather small and certainly not big enough to qualify one as a point-and-shoot camera and the other as a DSLR. For example, the mode wheel on top has the same function in both E-PL1 and E-P1. A typical point-and-shoot doesn't allow you to set the color temperature in Kelvin, to set the sensitivity of the noise filter, to change the color space. Feature-wise, the two a very close. The E-PL1 has a flash, but not the E-P1, while the E-PL1 doens't have a water-level.--Borishollas (talk) 19:45, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
