Sandbox for article on the Open Siddur Project[edit]

I'm writing and article on the Open Siddur Project for Wikipedia here in my userspace so that others can read it and comment before I submit it. It's imperfect and I hope that others will improve upon it, take it, and rewrite it. I hope this gives someone a good start.

The project has been written about in print and elsewhere on the web, just not yet on Wikipedia. It's not an insignificant or irrelevant project, and I believe (not stated in the article) that the project has had some modest influence. Nothing in the article is new information and I have included citations from where data in the article body can be checked. Aharonium (talk) 16:07, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested areas for improvement[edit]

I'd like to see the article improved by better citing what's already been written about the Open Siddur by third parties, for example, in Dan Mendelsohn Aviv's chapter on the Open Siddur Project in End of the Jews (2012); in Gabrielle Girau Pieck's research of the Open Siddur Project for her Masters thesis (University of Basel, 2014); and in Devorah Preiss's article on constructivist tools for engaging meaning in tefillah and the Open Siddur Project in the Lookstein Jornal of Jewish Educational Leadership.Aharonium (talk) 21:02, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Open Siddur Project. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).
