four or eight volumes in the set?[edit]

I am confused. I own volumes one and four. Volume four lists eight volumes in the series, as Wikipedia's article does. But the Library of Congress catalog notes that "Vol. 1 originally published: Ordeal of the Union. New York : Scribner, 1947; v. 2 originally published: The emergence of Lincoln. New York : Scribner, c1978; v. 3-4 originally published: The War for the Union. New York : Scribner, 1959-1971." So the series ends with volume four printed in 1971, right?. To make matters more confusing, volume four bears the title "The War for the Union" which is listed in the series list in the front piece as the title of volume five. But volume four is subtitled "the organized war to victory, 1864-1865." So, is the series four or eight volumes and what are their correct titles?
