Washington County, North Carolina[edit]

Elmo37877 (talk) 18:35, 30 April 2008 (UTC)"Washington County, Tennessee" as referred to in this article is a current county in Tennessee. During Revolutionary times, most of the Upper East Tennessee area was Washington County, North Carolina. This body of land was divided into several counties after Tennesse became a state in 1796 and since. See pre-statehood courthouse documents in Dandridge, TN, county seat of Jefferson County, TN.

The Battle of Musgrove Mill[edit]
