Uses[edit]

xterm uses overstrike to simulate bold fonts when no appropriate one is available. I don't recall that other currently-used terminal emulators do this TEDickey (talk) 08:26, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

nroff, and similar programs, use the feature TEDickey (talk) 08:29, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
