Revert[edit]

This article needs to be reverted to the version from 16th May, 2007 due to overzealous deletion. In case there is a question about conflicts of interest (or any other issues), I would like to submit the following section of "External Links" for evaluation by this audience:

SopCast[edit]

Why is this program constantly removed from this page? The program is a legitimate P2PTV program. The user opens the program, connects a channel and is almost instantly connected to a P2P world of users watching the same channel, uploading and downloading at the same time. I don't need to explain the program much further, but it is a legitimate P2PTV program and deserves to be on this page. Cableguytk 05:22, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

P2PTV → Peer-to-Peer Assisted Streaming Solution – The current name of the article is not used by any of the commercial solutions providing P2P solutions for broadcasters (like peer5.com, viblast.com or streamroot.io) or by any of the web televisions using P2P such as btlive.tv the BitTorrent web television powered by P2P. Also P2PTV is not a proper name since the article also embraces the technology of P2P streaming itself and not only the services of WebTV using P2P.
