Markov models?[edit]

I seem to recall that the distribution of results from a "Pachinko" machine are similar to those from a simple Markov model. If I'm not completely off base it seems like a cross link would make sense. I'd prefer that to be added by someone who actually understands any relationship between Markov chains and Pachinko machine results. This, http://dl.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=1143917 might be relevant.
