| WikiProject Companies To-do: |

|
Here are some tasks you can do:
- Article requests: see Wikipedia:Requested articles/Business and economics/Businesses and organizations
- Assess: Category:Unassessed Companies articles
- Cleanup:
- Copyedit: work on Category:Companies articles needing attention
- Expand: Cameco, Japan Steel Works, Mrs. Fields, BW Gas, BAE Systems Information Technology, IndyMac Bank (in the news as of July 11), AIG, Inmagic
- Infobox: work on Category:Company articles needing infoboxes
- Maintain: Portal:Companies
- NPOV: Alabama Cooperative Extension System, written almost entirely by a news and public affairs employee at ACES, so needs some neutral eyes to give it a going over to check for both neutrality, and layout/content inclusion, etc.
- Stubs: Category:Company stubs
- Wikify: Barry Callebaut, AED Oil Limited, IOCOM
- Other:
- Tag the pages of any company articles with the {{portal|Companies}} template
- Tag the talk pages of any company articles with the {{WikiProject Companies}} project banner
- Find editors who have shown interest in this subject and ask them if they would like to *Contribute to discussions on project guidelines and lists
- Identify articles for improvement and list here

[edit] Neutrality
The lead is nigh but promotional garbage. -- Anonymous DissidentTalk 00:19, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
I think I fixed it -- Domino111Talk 02:15, 1 July 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.178.32.249 (talk)
I believe the following sentence (IN THE ANNIVERSARY PARAGRAPH) to be in error: "...including the date of Easter, Hanukkah, Ramadan, body temperature, a thermometer, time of sunrise, equation of time, sidereal time,'. Most of the listed complications are correct except Date of Ramadan, Hanuka and Body Temperature. Horology (talk) 18:16, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- The lead and much of the rest of the article were written promotionally, as two editors noted above. I would ask whoever wrote this material originally to please observe the policies of WP:NPOV, WP:NOTADVERTISING, and, of course, the core WP:V, as well as the guidelines of WP:TONE and WP:DATED — all of which this article violated. --Tenebrae (talk) 13:14, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

- As I have just posted at the anon-IP talk page User talk:124.122.173.153, "Your blanket revert at Patek Philippe & Co. violates a number of Wikipedia policies, including core policies at the heart of this encyclopedia. Please read the Five Pillars of Wikipedia. "Common wisdom" is NOT allowed. Everything has to be verified by WP:RS cites. If you revert again to the policy-violating version after this warning, this may be considered vandalism by an admin, who will be contacted. It is important to read and understand Wikipedia policies and guidelines before editing." --Tenebrae (talk) 15:57, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
