Demonym[edit]

This article says that the demonym for people from Pegswood is "Pegswoodians". However, the article on demonyms lists Pegwardian as the demonym for Pegswood, using it as an example of an irregular demonym. "Another example is the name of the natives of Pegswood in Northumberland, England, which is 'Pegswardian'" So, which one is correct? Pegster 19:26, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

As a Pegswood local, I've definitely used "Pegswardian", but I've also heard older residents of both Pegswood and nearby areas use "Pegswegian" (as in "Glaswegian" for residents of Glasgow). 2.124.209.170 (talk) 03:18, 25 December 2012 (UTC)
