Would it be possible to add the time span when Hopkins or others ran/designed the ad-campaign? E. g. when it started and when it ended. I don't think Pepsodent is anywhere near as popular nowadays, but I think in particular the time when it was unknown, to FIRST become "famous", is interesting from a historics point of view. And I'd like to know the date when coming to wikipedia; right now the article does not fully specify the date/range about that, at the least not on the advertisement paragraph as such; it only mentions "Claude C. Hopkins realized teeth had a yellow film on them and he focused his advertisements for Pepsodent on removing that film." but there is no date on that. So how should people know WHEN that happened? There is an external link, but I think ideally wikipedia itself can show the date as-is - this simplifies people finding out things they want to know via wikipedia, which is IMO a good thing (I don't solely refer to Hopkins though; I really mean all relevant dates during the first time Pepsodent became well-known; it's mentioned in psychology books too, such as "The Power of Habit", which is why I looked up on wikipedia to verify the information as well as find out when exactly that started. Now I have to look elsewhere to find out. :P ). 2A02:8388:1604:F600:3AD5:47FF:FE18:CC7F (talk) 11:45, 20 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

From my childhood, I remember watching a Pepsodent commercial, which showed a cartoon animation of a battle between "Cowboys and Indians," which the cowboys were winning. The jingle in the background was "You'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent." This was nothing unusual for TV at that time in history, but the casual racism stands out sharply in my memory.Twixter (talk) 15:56, 16 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

IBX Updates[edit]

Hello pals,

I'd like to propose a change to this article's infobox.

Unilever is listed as the "Owner", but the IBX parameters found in the provided reference state:

"...is a subsidiary or division, omit the owner field and use the parent field instead"

If this doesn't cause any editor-friction, I'd like to circle back here soon and update the IBX myself!

Thank you to all!
