Maksim Baćović[edit]

There was a vojvoda Maksim Baćović (1848-1876) but he couldn't be father of Petar Bacović (1898 – 1945). Also Serbian wiki claims he was born in Nikšić, not in Kalinovik.-- Bojan  Talk  05:42, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps Simo is the father? Peacemaker67 (send... over) 06:36, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know. -- Bojan  Talk  11:50, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
23 editor this issue is still outstanding. Peacemaker67 (crack... thump) 03:17, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It would appear that Maksim Baćović was Petar's grandfather (according to Pogledi). His father was also named Maksim, and was a Chetnik vojvoda (per Dizdar et al. and the Jasenovac Memoral Site). 23 editor (talk) 18:45, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There were vojvodas in Montengro, but not Chetnik vojvodas. Chetniks emerged from struggle for Macedonia. Montenegrin vojvodas in time of Bacovic's birth were mere clan chiefs or something like that. -- Bojan  Talk  04:22, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Seems to me the issue is not clear, and probably should be removed from the article. If his grandfather and father were just clan chiefs, that is not the same as the contemporary meaning. Peacemaker67 (crack... thump) 04:46, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I've just reduced this to clan chief. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 01:30, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
