ethnicity[edit]

Yet another fuzzy entry as far as 'national histories' are concerned, or at least Google can't find anything substantial for me. Are there any sources for his ethnicity out there? --Joy [shallot] (talk) 17:26, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ugh, it turns out that it was the transliteration that made my searches futile - it's apparently Petar Vid Gvozdanović, with the latter given name being primary. A few local articles: [1] [2]. I'm guessing nobody in their right mind will be boasting with his ethnicity because he was a post-16th century Žumberak army brat - there was a major Serb immigration, but also a major Uniate conversion. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 12:52, 11 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
