So, German or English?[edit]

On this page it says that the Pewterschmidts were amount "the first families to colonize America from England". On Lois Griffin page it says "Lois Pewterschmidt Griffin was born into a wealthy German American family the Pewterschmidts".
So, which one is more correct? Judging by the lastname, I think it's German but then I could be wrong. Any opinions?

Pewterschmidt cat?[edit]

A section to this article has been added saying the Pewterschmidts have a pet cat named Debutante who will try to seduce a character named "Alfred Griffin." Unless I am mistaken, I heard that this "Alfred" character is Meg's future son, though this may likely be a scandal. Immblueversion (talk) 20:11, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Support. Pewterschmidt family does not merit a standalone page, either by richness of the subject (what can be said other than fan crufty original research and plot recap?), or by notability demonstrated in reliable secondary sources (which by WP:N and WP:V, should be a requirement). The length of List of characters in Family Guy might necessitate a reorganization or a rewrite of that article, which currently includes many minor and trivial characters such as Pasqual and Santos, Horace and God. The current standard per Talk:List of characters in Family Guy is "no one-shot characters"; this may be too inclusive. / edg ☺ ☭ 03:34, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
