There's a confusion, or omission, here with regard to prefix & suffix. Yours truly, --Ludvikus 23:00, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think the is a problem here in translating love and friendship between the two language sets: ancient Greek and modern European languages. Are we projecting our notion of love where no such thing existed among these ancients? Ludvikus 23:05, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Philia exists]][edit]

That's friendship transliterated. But what's love in ancient Greek transliteration??? --Ludvikus 23:11, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Philo, Inc.[edit]

Back in 1990, give or take a couple years, there was a software manufacturer named Philo, Inc. that offered a BASIC compiler for the Atari ST. Their implementation of the BASIC language was called BASIC M. Should the disambiguation page contain a reference to this manufacturer? 198.177.27.22 (talk) 05:15, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Phil refers to himself as being old; yet, all your references indicate his span of years to be only about 20 years. It is significant to note that there are major disputes and debates about the contribution of Philo to the historicity of ancient Judaism, its writings, it’s sacred literature and the dates of New Testament writings. To retain a demonstrably inaccurate record of life span does significant damage to the credibility of the record of Philo as well as to the accuracy of Wikipedia as a whole. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.202.48.251 (talk) 13:52, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
