Pierrot le Fou (1965 FILM)Pierrot le fou — The current name for the article is clunky, and was a bad edit on my part. —TheZGDK (talk) 18:33, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

  • I see what you're saying, I'll drop the f down to a lower case. TheZGDK (talk) 20:02, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
  • Support move; no other topic by this name, so no need for disambiguation. Erik (talk) 17:11, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

"Pierrot le fou" versus "Pierrot le Fou"[edit]

The procedure to be followed with foreign-language films which retain their original, non-English-language title when they are distributed in the English-speaking world has been discussed on previous occasions, with a majority consensus having been reached that such titles should adhere to English-language orthography (thus, "Pierrot le Fou", not "Pierrot le fou"). The specific pro and con arguments need not be rehashed here, but those wishing to survey the matter or comment further, are invited to review the July-August 2010 exchange at Talk:La Strada#Upper or Lower case—Roman Spinner (talk) 00:48, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

Pierrot[edit]

I have always assumed that the "pierrot" in the title was a reference to the pierrot character, not a nickname for Pierre. 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 03:33, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
