Dubai elections

UAE president[edit]

Does anyone know whether the emir of Abu Dhabi is required to be UAE president by law or constitution, or if it is merely custom? Could the emirs theoretically elect any one of their number (or, for that matter, anyone period) to the post? --Jfruh 13:50, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

Map of the individual Emirates[edit]

This country is a federation of 7 Emirates. The article needs a political map showing the 7 Emirates and their territories. TiffaF 06:32, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Important notice[edit]

The government section of the "Outline of the United Arab Emirates" needs to be checked, corrected, and completed -- especially the subsections for the government branches.

When the country outlines were created, temporary data (that matched most of the countries but not all) was used to speed up the process. Those countries for which the temporary data does not match must be replaced with the correct information.

Please check that this country's outline is not in error.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact The Transhumanist .

Thank you.
