Chinese Medicine[edit]
In Chinese Herbal Medicine, Polygonum Aviculare is known as, Bian Xu. See: http://tcm.health-info.org/Herbology.Materia.Medica/bianxu-properties.htm
However, it is a less important, less frequently used member of the Polygonaceae family. Compared to Radix Polygonati multiflori / He Shou Wu, Caulis Polygonati Multiflori / Ye Jiao Teng; Rhizoma Polygonati Sibiricum / Huang Jing, Rhizoma Polygonati Odorati / Yu Zhu, and to a lesser extent Rhizoma Polygonati Cuspidati / Hu Zhang. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.18.234.174 (talk) 21:03, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
