Why does the IMDB only list him as having been in 505 films, and not the 700 the article cites? In how many of his films did he play the leading male role? PoochieR (talk) 09:26, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Prem Nazir never acted in 700 films. Apart from around 550 Malayalam films he had acted in 39 Tamil, 7 Kannada and 2 Telungu films.So the count comes close to 600 films. Apart from a few ones in all others he played the lead role. A terrific achievement by any standards. Moreover he portrayed a wide variety of roles.Drsaji (talk) 17:51, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not from British India[edit]

Prem Nazir was born in Travancore, but then Travancore technically was not in British India. It was only native king ruled state which was under British suzerainty. There were other places which were under direct British rule. The places in current day India under direct British rule included mainly the presidencies, such as Madras.
