== President? == YAS Does anybody object to me editing this page? The term "President" is a misnomer since there are no elections, which is a point I think should be pointed out.
Yes, I do. Although there are no elections, it is internationally accepted that the title is 'President of the UAE', and 'Ruler of [insert city]'. There may be no election, but presidency is also assumed by dictators. The UAE is a monarchy, so with a bit of research, you can find the right information to put here. By all means add text informing of the system of 'election' in the UAE, but please don't say that simply because he isn't elected, he isn't a president. bigforrap (talk) 12:26, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
رئيس doesn't mean president. "Rais" is any leader - a leader of a gang, a leader of a ship crew, a leader of a committee. 220.127.116.11 (talk) 09:37, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
