I have this exact movie IRL, but it's actually titled "John Carter of Mars" both on the box and in the film (using the same title font, as well as the same picture, actors, and overall plot). I'm guessing Disney forced them to change it? Also its entry on the Filmography for The Asylum lists it as a mockbuster of Avatar, which isn't right. It was originally titled "Princess of Mars" when it was released, but was retitled and re-released when the Disney version came out (no doubt in the hope of garnering more sales in connection with the big budget version). James Cameron once mentioned that "Avatar" was sorta kinda inspired by his reading of Burroughs' original novel (not in plot, but in "spirit," I think) so that is where the claims that it is a mockbuster of his film come from.
