POV/Soapbox[edit]

This page appears to be created, not as neutral article on the "Principle of consent" concept (in the context of a hypothetical vote on a United Ireland), but as a soapbox for the musings and thoughts of the creating editor. (Who is a self proclaimed "Independent Socialist Republican" who has stood in local elections on a related ticket). This article needs serious rework to adjust the POV tone, and/or may simply warrant deletion - not just because of the tone - but because the "Principle of consent" concept may not warrant an article of it's own, and could easily be merged into the relevant United Ireland article(s). Britain, Northern Ireland and the Republic[edit]

Please do not change "all elected parties in Britain, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland" to "all elected parties in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland." It is not the same thing. The point being made is that all parties in the Northern Ireland Assembly, as well as all parties at Wesminster, accept the principle.
