People[edit]

Sequencing/programming is used by countless musicians all over the world, yet the two named artists are Japanese video game composers. Including only these two individuals gives the article a distorted view on who actually programs music. I am going to delete the references to these two individuals, as I think the article can do without them. Feel free to revert if you disagree. 75.72.217.99 (talk) 01:59, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

but what is it?[edit]

The article describes broadly what is used and where it is used, but doesn't say what it is. What specific things does a music programmer do? How would a song that involves music programming be different if no programming occurred? What specific tools/parameters are involved in programming or what type of effects does it result in? I've always wondered about it but this article doesn't much help! Can anyone expand? 70.192.12.93 (talk) 00:57, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

Why was computer generated music removed from the "see also" section?[edit]

I noticed that this link was removed in this edit, despite being relevant to this article. What was the reason for this decision? Jarble (talk) 15:18, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
