Sequencing/programming is used by countless musicians all over the world, yet the two named artists are Japanese video game composers. Including only these two individuals gives the article a distorted view on who actually programs music. I am going to delete the references to these two individuals, as I think the article can do without them. Feel free to revert if you disagree. (talk) 01:59, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

but what is it?[edit]

The article describes broadly what is used and where it is used, but doesn't say what it is. What specific things does a music programmer do? How would a song that involves music programming be different if no programming occurred? What specific tools/parameters are involved in programming or what type of effects does it result in? I've always wondered about it but this article doesn't much help! Can anyone expand? (talk) 00:57, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

Why was computer generated music removed from the "see also" section?[edit]

I noticed that this link was removed in this edit, despite being relevant to this article. What was the reason for this decision? Jarble (talk) 15:18, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
