Public domain in countries other than the USA[edit]

This concept about public domain lands exists also in Brazil, and also by law, I relly don't know how is it today, but I believe there continues to exist such lands in Brazil, specially in the amazon (rain forest) region. --Iporã (talk) 03:40, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article should contain info on public domain of other countries. Does public domain land exist today? Is it different than public (government owned) land? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.151.10.113 (talk) 20:48, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Map[edit]

The RS from which the map was borrowed says the map shows the baselines for surveys, but stops short of saying there is a 1:1 relationship between the colored areas on the map and "the public domain", either today, or 100+ years ago. NewsAndEventsGuy (talk) 02:25, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
