The real book purports to be a reproduction of a copy of the fictional book held in the Hogwarts library.

Is it really a reproduction of a copy, or is this just poor grammar?

If it makes it clearer, it's a copy of a copy, it even has the list of who has checked it out and when it was due back.

I think what's we're trying to say is that the actual book, which you can purchase at any real-world bookstore, purports to be a reproduction of the Hogwarts copy, which is fictional. 64.252.101.106 (talk) 01:34, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Yes. It is a real book that claims to be a copy of an imaginary book. Das Baz, aka Erudil 16:24, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Movie?

I don't remember a single reference to this book in the movie. Was this book only mentioned in the book? If so, the article should mention this. Brianjd 09:43, 2005 Jan 2 (UTC)

They should make a Movie of "Quidditch through the Ages." Better yet, several movies. Das Baz, aka Erudil 18:29, 16 October 2008 (UTC) By the way, it is one of the funniest books I have ever read. Das Baz, aka Erudil 16:24, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Blank Page..

Err help - Is this page meant to be blank or is it just me? - Has it been moved somewhere else? - If so can someone tell me where? Peter 20:04, 16 March 2006 (UK)

It's not blank.ISAYsorry 23:20, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Brutus Scrimgeour

Is he meant to be related to Rufus Scrimgeour (Minster of Magic in Book 6 onwards)? 0L1

That's actually an interesting question... he probably is. ISAYsorry 23:22, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
i just noticed that myself the other day. they appear to be very aggressive, tough people, but since it doesn't say in 7, i guess we'll never know--Jac16888 21:51, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Unless Mistress Rowling tells all in her Encyclopaedia Potteriana. Das Baz, aka Erudil 18:30, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Snape

Do we know that Snape made up the rule about library books not being taken out of the castle, or is that just what Ron thinks he may have done? AnonMoos 15:16, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Another question to be answered in Jo Rowling's Encyclopaedia. Das Baz, aka Erudil 16:55, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image

Anyone who owns the book willing to put a picture of it here? ISAYsorry 23:21, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Copyright holder?

As of right now, this article says Rowling is listed as the copyright holder of the Harry Potter" name. A name cannot be copyrighted, but it can be trademarked. If someone who has a copy of this book could be bothered to confirm exactly what it says and cite it, it would be lovely. 70.240.145.65 (talk) 03:44, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
