The math of the demographics does not add up. There are aboiut 65% of the population white, but also about 65% of the population Hispanic. How can this be so?

Answer: Many Hispanics are white and would fall under both categories. Remember Latin America was colonized by Europeans so white Hispanics would most likely be from primarily Spanish ancestry (White) rather than native american. This is why many forms want to differentiate so they list "White" and "Non-white Hispanic." --Borphos 22:55, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've lived there, and I can say anecdotally that the town is definitely made up of more than 50% Hispanics. The 65% figure sounds spot-on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.103.158.14 (talk) 01:34, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Geography? The following may not belong under geography:

"This is a very respectable place. And is really taking off in terms of its size and popularity with all the local happenings. Quincy even had its own article in the Wall Street Journal in early March."

Suggest moving the section and possibly making it more encyclopedic rather than commentary. But all in all, a good page. Very informative. --Borphos 20:52, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Note to self: Lock Haven, Pennsylvania is a good small town FA model. Minneapolis is a FA about a bigger city. Jsharpminor (talk) 02:26, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
