Rabid Missionary and anti-Hindu polemicist[edit]

There is no mention of his desecration of Hindu scripture and his many defamatory attacks on Indians and Hindus. This man is a racist, vandal, missionary and evalengical propagandist. This article is a sick joke!Netaji 02:13, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A college student's response[edit]

Dear Netaji, On what grounds do you base your arguments? Have you ever met Rabi Maharaj, read his book, or heard him speak? You called him the following names:

"racist" "vandal" "missionary" "evangelical propagandist"

I have heard Maharaj speak on more than one occassion, I have read his book, and I have heard many stories from people who know Maharaj personally. Therefore I can respond accordingly:

"racist" -- Maharaj is himself a colored man. Against whom is he a racist? If it is against fellow Indians, you are mistaken; Maharaj makes frequent trips to India to care for the Dalits. He has traveled to leper colonies to serve the sick there. He has humbly eaten in poor village homes. He has brought suitcases full of medical supplies to the untouchables of India, whom Hindus themselves have shunned. And if you think Maharaj is racist against blacks, than you are also mistaken, because some of Rabi's best friends are blacks. So I am curious to know what you meant here.

"vandal" -- According to my dictionary, a vandal is “someone who maliciously and deliberately defaces or destroys somebody else’s property”. Who’s property has Maharaj destroyed? Yours? If so, please tell me the story. But Maharaj has always been known to be a man of great integrity. I have never known him to harm anyone or their posessions.

"missionary" -- What crime is it to be a missionary? What crime is it to go into other countries to do social or medical work because of one's faith in someone greater than man?

"evangelical propagandist" -- If by evangelical propagandist you mean to state that Maharaj shares his faith with others, then you are entirely correct. This is what Maharaj enjoys doing best. He is a man with an incredible faith in God, and since he believes his faith to be Truth, it would be utterly selfish if he were to keep the source of his hope and joy a secret from the world.

Netaji, your comments were not backed up with any reasons for calling Rabi Maharaj such strong names. It seems like your anger against Rabi is not against him, but against anyone who claims to know and love Christ.

A big catch for the evangelical extrme![edit]

He calls himself an Ex-Brahmin and People believe that this means that he must have special knowledge about Hinduism. In fact it means nothing exept that he was born in the upper caste. This man was in a state of religious confusion and the perect pray for the extreme evangelicals whose goal it is to convert all non-christian cultures in the world to christianity. (a need for the second coming of Christ) His hatespeeches against hinduism and everything related to it like Yoga and meditation are an offence to one Billion Hindus worldwide. Shiva is declared to be Satan. This makes every Hindu a Satan worshipper. His book "Death of a Guru" is full of semitruth, lies and a small amount of truth so that people may easier believe it. The use of the word Ìdol``in his book instead of Murthi shows his low knowledge. People like him are causing great damage to earnest seekers of truth who may get scared about spirituell practises what are proved b the great sages of India like Vivekananda, Yogananda, Shivananda, Ramana Maharshi or the famous Adi Shankaracharya. The goal of people like Rabi Maharaj and Missionaries in India who convert thru bribe, cheat, psychological manipulation, fear and sometimes even thru violent force (gunpointconversion), like the NLFT (National Liberation Front of Tripura) a Christian terrorgroup financed by he Babtist Church, is to destroy Hinduism and Hindu culture. (source http://www.hinduwisdom.info/Conversion.htm) The evangelical groups invest billons of dollas in their Plans. More about this everyone can find on the Internet. Search for "forced conversion india" "10/40 window" "tricks of missionaries in india" "converting tribals india" aso. EVANGELICAL Supremasists have declared war on Hinduism and Rabi Maharaj is just one wheel in this big machinery! Im living partly in India and can see the changes in the last 20 years. I am NOT against christians, but the practices used by most missionary groups are simply disgusting and even illegal in some states! 106.208.66.142 (talk) 20:15, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

As far as i know his name is "Rabindrnath R. Maharaj". There is a red link to Rabindranath R. Maharaj from Rabindranath Maharaj. Probably the real name should be mentioned in this article and the link Rabindranath R. Maharaj should redirect here?? --2003:7A:8A34:EC33:4216:7EFF:FE2A:7A33 (talk) 10:17, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
