Plot is cribbed verbatim from IMDB here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0032963/plotsummary?ref_=tt_ov_pl. This summary is credited to an IMDB registered user, not to WP. And as we might expect from the lack of rigor at IMDB, the description is inaccurate: at no point in the film are Lord and Lady Melrose indicated as Gwen's parents, she calls them "Lord" and "Lady", never "mother" or "father", and the Melroses only just meet Gwen's brother, Bunny, during the course of the film.
