Thank you for your comment. Explaining what the problems are is more helpful than simply deleting anything you don't like. Certainly some of the material on this talk page had no right to be here, and I have deleted it. At present the article does not contain any of the material from Levitra123 to which you objected, and a warning has been posted to Levitra123, telling him/her not to continue to add material without a reliable source. I shall watch for any further edits by Levitra123, and further steps can be taken if the problem continues.
It appears from your comments that you are editing on behalf of the company. Wikipedia policy is that articles should be independent of their subjects, and editing of an article about a company by representatives of a company is not generally encouraged: see the guideline on conflict of interest for details.
Any claims about the company which are not supported by reliable evidence are not acceptable, and will be deleted. However, note that whether the information is favourable or unfavourable to the company is not relevant: Wikipedia is not an advertising service, and the same standards of independent verifiable sources apply equally in both cases. World leader?[edit]

Mr James Ramco is not the world leader in aviation software. What is the source for that? The building posted is not their own too. It was sold. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Levitra123 (talkcontribs) 10:39, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The source for the claim of being the world leader is that which is cited in the article. If you have good reason for doubting the reliability of the source than please state your reason here. Likewise if you know of another reliable source which contradicts this one. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:21, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Have to agree to the objection to refering to Ramco Solutions as the world leader in aviation software, aviation MRO software or ERP software - there is just no basis for any of these marketing claims. Ramco does not have as many customers, nor revenues, nor profits, nor any other normal measure that could possibly justify such a claim. Having someone who admittedly works for or has some connnection to the company making such a claim - sort of proves the invalidness of the claim. —Preceding unsigned comment added by GeorgePBurdell IV (talkcontribs) 14:34, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs to be cleaned up. It reads like an advertisement. -- Sperril 09:08, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Upon further review, I've re-added the NPOV tag as well. This article needs attention. -- Sperril 09:12, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have done some cleaning up. Does anyone think more needs to be done? JamesBWatson (talk) 11:26, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is it possible to remove the "This article is written like an advertisement" status? All advertising remarks seem to have been removed and there is no need for the status of the page anymore in my opinion. Wikiupdaterrr (talk) 16:25, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I still feel the tone of the article is rather advertisement-like, but I agree that the blatant advertising has gone, so I shall remove the advert template. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:02, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is it also possible to remove the history of Levitra123 entries? Right now it is still there and accessible to be viewed. Since the remarks have been removed from the main page. Wikiupdaterrr (talk) 16:27, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There are various deletion processes, but most of them involve deleting whole pages, not just parts of the edit history. I am not sure what would best cover your case, but you may like to try oversight. If you click on that link you will find a page which says that editing history can be deleted under some circumstances, including Removal of potentially libelous information when the subject has specifically asked for the information to be expunged from the history, the case is clear, and there is no editorial reason to keep the revision. The page explains how to request oversight. I hope this helps. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:02, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Irrelavant Content[edit]

There is currently a line in the article (last line of first section) about Ramco causing cancer in california that is obviously rubbish.

Please delete / clean up. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.192.229.226 (talk) 14:55, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New page?[edit]

I noticed that Ramco Group doesn't have its own article but many of its companies/former companies do. Does it merit one? I'll take a stab at looking for reliable sources. Cheers. Scheianf (talk) 20:03, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
