Ramechhap town( रामेछाप )[edit]
Ramechhap as a settlement is on a Nepal Map: 'Main Trail map' HMG NEPAL Ministry of Works & Transport Department of Roads Suspension Bridge Division Scale 1:250000 [1989] ( one of the six published sheets (each region) I own). Two larger towns are shown, one Ramechhap (some 7km south of where Manthali is seen on Google). Both are on clear paths from Okhaldunga to Dhulikhel; the old communication line. It is probable all Ramechhap administration was moved in the late C.20th. I noticed this when trying to find the location of the old post town Lyanglyang, postmarks for Lyanglyang known from 1881 (start of stamps) until at least 1966 [W Hellrigl & C Hepper [1978] 'The Native Postmarks of Nepal' no ISBN]. This is the main post office of the RameChhap District as listed by Hellrigl & Hepper. LlamanTont0 (talk) 11:47, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
