ok i hope no one minds but im going to take out the bit that says " a white suit was superimposed over Pratt's clothes" this infact was not ture. in the original he really did have a white suit on.billy turner

Erm actually I mind... because it was Kenneth Cope who wore the white suit in the original, and not Mike Pratt. As Pratt had died by the time the new series was made, the producers decided to include a clip of him with a white suit - so that he could appear in one of the "Limbo" scenes. yes but in the last episode of the original series there was a bit were jeff was about to drown in a river. someone was trying to revive him and when this was going on his ghost appeared in a white suit. they used this clip in the new series. so there was no white suit superimposed over him.billy

Episodes out of order on DVDs?[edit]

I recently got the Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) 8-Disc Special Edition box set and i realised that the episodes are out of order on the discs. For instance The Smile Behind the Veil (the series finale) is on disc 2 and not at the end of the series where it should be. Some episodes (such as the Pilot) are in the right positions.

Now i'm not sure if this is just my DVD or it's the same on all the others. Does anyone know? Should this be mentioned in the article or not?

Reason for using LWT transmission order[edit]

Even the Randall and Hopkirk(Deceased) Declassified website cannot confirm transmission dates of the last two episodes of the series on ATV midlands in 1971, repeats seeem to have been shown before the final episodes, if at all. The dates and production numbers have been taken from the two booklets with the network dvd and do provide the best source but, errors have crept in due to probably mistyping by the author.It is a problem with all ITC series that were usually finished production before broadcast, had no continuity and except for the first episode could be shown in any orderREVUpminster (talk) 07:21, 22 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Home Media:[edit]

In 2017 the complete series of Randall And Hopkirk (Deceased) was released on blu-ray in the UK by a company called Network. Though listed as Region B the series is actually Region A/B/C or Region Free meaning it will also play in American blu-ray players. The episodes on the discs are listed in production order instead of the air date order.

Distributor in the infobox[edit]

According to the infobox, the distributor was Carlton Communications plc. Weirdly, instead of wikilinking to Carlton Communications plc, it wikilinks to ITV Studios Global Entertainment.

But Carlton Communications was a company that operated between 1982 and 2004. It did not exist in the 1960s when Randall and Hopkirk was made. It is not mentioned in the article, only in the infobox. I propose to delete it from the infobox. I do not know if it distributed the TV series at one point; if it did please could we mention that in the article with a citation.
