Tag[edit]

  • just a quick to say why I pulled the db-spam tage (which I don't do often and I had never edited this article). The topic is valid. Yes, the link was spam, but it is likely a valid topic for an encyclopedia, and needs expanding. I removed the link. I won't labor it if the original nominator feels it is still subject to speedy (although I think it would be a case for afd, not speedy). It could be a decent article on wine, differentiated Bordeaux. If the speedy is left, as a courtesy, explain here if you don't mind. Pharmboy 02:54, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rouge/blanc[edit]

I don't believe that Bordeaux Rouge and Bordeaux Blanc are separate appellations. There's just an appellation, Bordeaux AOC, which includes both red and white wines. Similarly for Bordeaux Supérieur AOC. (In fact, I can't find anything online which admits that white wine can be made under Bordeaux AOC, but I'm pretty sure it can. The links in the references aren't working.) Havelock Jones (talk) 14:00, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
